Strategic Buyer (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the product groups of a main system across the site and are an integral part of one or more customer projects. You will be guided by the respective project and support Category Management in the development of product group strategies as well as in the construction and maintenance of the supplier pool. You prepare tenders, enquiries and negotiations, guide cross-functional negotiation teams and close the contracts, for example AEB, ZEB for B‐ and C-parts in coordination with project management. You monitor the performance of the contract: milestone tracking, safeguarding rights and obligations, cash and sales planning, cost distribution curve and obligo planning. You process claims in cooperation with the relevant interfaces and secure the conformity of the contracts. You provide all the required numbers and data for the project controlling and motivates you to capture defined KPIs. You are responsible for the entire processing and testing of the assigned main systems in order to achieve cost and performance targets on time.

You have a completed university or university degree course e.g. BWL, economic engineering or a comparable qualification. You trade entrepreneurially and bring professional experience in the described field of work for several years. You are safe in handling SAP as well as the current MS‐Office applications. You have knowledge of German and English in word and writing. You have profound knowledge of contract law and a strong technical understanding. You show high own initiative, work team-oriented and convince by organizational skill. You have enforcement capabilities and can make decisions under pressure. You are ready to travel nationally and internationally.
