Head of Finance (m/f/d)

In this role, you take full responsibility for our financial function in Germany, says for transparency, advance a precise forecast culture and support strategic decisions with stressable figures. At the same time, the position is strongly operative and hands-on: In our dynamic and fast-growing environment, we need an adaptable personality that actively contributes and develops the financial function in parts. Your mission to Leyton Leyton is an international consulting company with over 3,000 employees in 18 countries. We help companies finance their innovation and sustainability projects – from tax incentives to project financing. As Manager Finance (m/w/d), you are responsible for the financial health and operational efficiency of our business in Germany. You report directly to the CEO Germany and work closely with sales, consulting, HR and global finance. Since the Hiring team is set up internationally and in English, we ask you to submit your resume in English.

Responsibility for and active building and further development of the financial and accounting function in Germany, including leadership of a team member. Creation of budgets, forecasts and regular financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring the correct monthly and annual accounts in cooperation with internal and external partners. Self-sufficiency of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts (HGB) in cooperation with internal and external partners. Responsibility for Financial Control & Cash Management in the German business. Contact for auditors:inside, tax advisors:inside and global financial teams. Supporting corporate planning and performance tracking with focus on data-based decisions. Participation in transnational projects and process optimizations.

Completed studies in finance, accounting or comparable. Multiannual experience in a leading financial position – ideally in a medium-sized, international and growth-oriented company. Very good understanding of HGB, degrees and accounting relationships. Funded understanding of financial planning, reporting, accounting and controlling. Economic thinking: You look beyond figures, understand business relationships and constructively challenge the disciplines. High adaptability and motivation to build and develop structures. Analytical skills with healthy realism – you know what is feasible and how you can achieve it. Hands-on, structured and detailed work as well as experience with SAGE X3 & very good Excel skills. German and English skills (C1 levels).
