As an intern* in the Strategic Project Management New Product Projects Van, you will gain insights into one of the most exciting and challenging projects within Mercedes-Benz Vans. You work directly at the interface of project, department and top management control and experience firsthand how complex vehicle programs are strategically prepared, controlled and made to decide. You will not only observe, but actively cooperate: in preparing management decisions, structuring complex issues, coordinating cross-sector topics, and creating reports, presentations and decision-making documents. This gives you a unique perspective on how innovation is created in a global automotive company – from strategic orientation to operational implementation. As part of your internship, you can support the Strategic Project Management in managing key new product projects in the van environment. Your tasks in detail: Support in the preparation of decision documents, presentations and reports for development, project and top management bodies

Structure and preparation of complex project contents with focus on product, technology, costs, dates, industrialization and organization

Cooperation in the coordination and follow-up of transnational project and decision topics

Support in the planning, preparation, implementation and follow-up of workshops, rounds of votes and committee meetings

Creation of Management Summarys, Protocols, Status Reports and Decision Templates

Independent processing of defined work packages and smaller projects within the Strategic Project Management

Cooperation with interfaces from development, production, purchasing, controlling, sales and other international project partners

Support in the further development of project management methods, body processes and digital methods

Ensuring structured information processing and transparent communication within the project environment

You are studying in the field of economic engineering, mechanical engineering, economics, vehicle engineering, project management or a comparable degree program and want to gain practical experience in a strategically relevant vehicle project.
