Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Mechanical 3-D room coordination of devices, fittings and their screw and welding holders in Teamcenter PLM / Siemens NX, incl. foundation and compliance with applicable regulations, guidelines and standards Creation and project planning of construction documents (signments, piece lists, functional sequences, design and test specifications), definition of specifications for production and suppliers, and testing of drawings and piece lists Development and constructive implementation of solution proposals for devices and platforms, including data input in CAD and ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and execution of design and costing calculations Cross-departmental coordination and problem clarification with system owners, equipment and shipbuilding as well as related activities such as problem-taking, solution finding and participation in audits and acceptances Creation of functional sequences and test specifications, support in tests and acceptances, as well as evaluation of self-produced parts with regard to calculatorial and plannerial boundary conditions

Diplom-Ing. (FH/Uni/TH) or 2-year vocational training supplemented by several years of professional experience and special training in the job-specific environment Funded job-specific IT skills (CAD, CAM, CAE) and experience in the guidance of employees Varied system and process knowledge with a pronounced interface and process-oriented competence as well as structured and analytical thinking Wide expertise in the respective area of responsibility, including experience in the application of relevant standards and procedures Very good communication and team skills, sound English skills and willingness to travel
