Dual Studies - Automation Engineer (m/w/d)

During the 4-year dual study, you will visit the University of Düsseldorf to acquire a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) with a deepening of automation technology. In the Siemens training center in Düsseldorf, you will get a basic practical training and at Amazon on site, you will work on the side of experienced automation engineers to apply and deepen your newly acquired knowledge.

Your tasks:

• Hardware engineering and configuration of systems
• Installation of complex infrastructure systems
• Automation systems with process visualizations
• Intelligent factory automation with cloud connectivity
• IoT applications in building technology
• Installation of electrical equipment
• Testing of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic controls

Basic qualifications

• General Higher Education, Higher Education
• German language skills in word and writing (C1 level)
• Basic English in Word and Writing (A2-level)
• First practical experience in electrical/automatic/control technology or related areas Preferred qualifications
• Embossed communication capability
• Own initiative, model function and “hands-on mentality”
• Proactive driving of change processes and independent decision-making
• Dealing with MS Office (especially knowledge in Excel, Word and Power Point)
