Medical Director of Outpatient Palliative Care (m/f/d)

As a medical director of the outpatient palliative team in South Hesse, you will advise and provide care for seriously ill patients in their last stage of life and work together with the multi-professional team to develop the treatment concept. You work closely with the cooperation partners and actively contribute to the expansion of the palliative medical care network Medical Responsibility and Patient Care: Comprehensive palliative medical care of outpatient patients – including home visits, individual therapy planning and holistic symptom control in the multi-professional team Management and personnel management: Responsibility for the team’s organisational and professional management – including service planning, training and guidance of new employees, support for medical and organisational decisions, and promotion and implementation of training measures Network care and interdisciplinary cooperation: the establishment and maintenance of an interdisciplinary network through close cooperation with clinics, hospitals, nursing institutions and hospices, as well as the organisation and implementation of further training courses for professionals and volunteers Administrative and organisational tasks: Responsibility for quality-protected documentation and drug management (including BTM and emergency medication) and active participation in internal and external team and case meetings

Qualification: You are a specialist in an area close to the patient with the additional name Palliativmedizin Professional experience: You have relevant professional experience in Palliative Care and ideally you have already been entrusted with overriding, organizational tasks and know the framework conditions of the SAPV Personality: You are characterized by an open minded personality, creative thinking, flexibility and team skills and have a motivating, targeted and cooperative leadership style. Sensitivity in dealing with seriously ill people is obvious to you willingness to design: commitment and joy in shaping and responsible work
