Senior Consultant Property Division Management (Human*) Focus on Industrial and Large Risk Business - Germany and International Markets

Special responsibility for industrial and large risks: You take over the special care of industrial and large risks in property insurance and in the technical insurance sectors. Here, you analyze developments and market trends in the industrial, commercial and housing sectors, create specialist concepts, market analyses and management templates and derive recommendations for underwriting and portfolio management. In addition, you evaluate new risks and emerging risks, for example in connection with artificial intelligence, battery storage or the energy transition. You accompany strategically important customer relationships professionally and as a savings partner, support optional underwriters in the assessment of complex industrial and large risks and are responsible for the special accept-outwriting with industrial and large-scale risk coverage in the management markets. In addition, you analyze particularly exposed risks as well as cumulative situations and develop sound basis for decision-making. Market and customer work: You act as a special contact for customers and underwriters in all issues relating to industrial and large risks. In specialist discussions with customers, brokers and retrocessors, you represent the company's professional interests and bring your expertise in a targeted manner. In addition, you can actively represent and position the company on customer and industry events as well as on VöV e. V. and, where appropriate, the GDV. You will pass on your knowledge in workshops and training to customers and colleagues, thereby promoting professional exchange within and outside the company. Special support for international growth: You support the expansion of international business from a professional perspective and analyze national and international market standards. In doing so, the underwriting advises you in assessing complex risks and contract structures outside the leadership markets and brings your expertise to international tenders. At the same time, you promote knowledge transfer between Germany, Austria and other international markets in order to sustainably support a uniform professional orientation and the further development of the business.

Higher education in economics, engineering, insurance or comparable qualifications Alternative: Insurance Business Administration (DVA) (Human), Engineer (Human) with Insurance Background or Natural Scientist (Human*) with Insurance Cover Multiannual professional experience with a first or reverse insurer in the industrial insurance business including international programs Expertise in underwriting and/or technical risk management Additional experience in the underwriting of technical insurance branches Good knowledge of reinsurance structures and contractual mechanisms Secure market overview in Germany and Austria; ideally complemented by international experience High independence, strong intrinsic motivation and sense of responsibility Sovereign communication and consulting competence at eye level Safe appearance and joy of networked cooperation Conceptual strength and interest in strategic issues German and English skills, other foreign language of advantage
