Category Manager Packaging Procurement (m/f/d)

Takeover of strategic procurement responsibility in the environment of plastic and paper-based packaging categories with an annual donation responsibility of €20-50 million. Developing together with internal stakeholders You implement sustainable category strategies, align them consistently with the corporate objectives and implement them. You analyze procurement markets, evaluate price developments and derive sound purchasing and award decisions. By tendering, negotiations and contracting, you will ensure competitive conditions and reliable supply. Market knowledge and expenditure analyses are used to identify savings potentials and implement measurable value contributions. As a competent respondent, you also support the strategic planning within the framework of the budget/ Forecast process with sound statements on relevant cost and market developments. In close cooperation with specialist departments, you control supplier relationships, develop performance concepts and promote continuous improvements.

You have a successfully completed master's degree or a comparable qualification with an economic focus. Multiannual experience in strategic purchasing or category management allows you to safely control complex procurement projects. Analytical thinking helps you to evaluate spending structures and successfully implement sustainable purchasing strategies. Negotiating skills, communication strength and a sovereign occurrence help you to work with internal and external partners. First experience in the professional leadership or coordination of teams will ideally bring you with you. Negotiating knowledge of English and a safe handling of international stakeholders complete your profile.
