Number: MER00040EG As an intern in the international powertrain logistics, you support the coordination and organization of logistical topics around the electric drive system (eATS). You work with different national and international locations and gain a comprehensive insight into end-to-end logistics processes – from the project environment to the series. You support experienced logistics managers in the preparation, analysis and coordination of logistical issues and are gradually brought to independent tasks. These challenges include: Support in cross-site coordination of logistical activities in the international Powertrain network
Working to ensure a smooth flow of information between global interfaces (project, production, development, purchasing, transport logistics)
Support for monitoring logistical work packages in terms of capacity, costs, dates and quality
Preparation and monitoring of voting and committee meetings, including presentations, protocols and reports
Preparation of decision-making requirements and drafting of first action proposals under guidance
Cooperation in following planning processes in new-type, change-year or MOPF projects
Support for the analysis of logistical risks and bottlenecks and the derivation of possible measures
Cooperation with the logistics managers of the individual locations and participation in the harmonisation of processes
Participation in cross-functional meetings and international voting rounds

Technically: Continuous studies of logistics, industrial engineering, supply chain management or a comparable discipline
