Insurance Consultant (m/f/d)

You independently tax and optimise our entire insurance portfolio and keep in mind contracts, coverages and self-containing. On this basis, you continuously develop our existing insurance cover in the areas of liability, property and personal insurance and take into account both the company's risk development and economic aspects. For the management and the board of directors, you will prepare well-founded policy proposals and create a reliable basis for strategic decisions. At the same time, you coordinate, check and process all insurance documents and make sure that all contractual reporting obligations are met in time. As a central contact person, you work closely with insurance brokers, insurers, reviewers and lawyers and accompany insurance-related issues – such as contract issues or damage management. In addition, you develop comparison and regress approaches and accompany their implementation. The damages you are looking for often amount to approximately 50,000 euros, with individual damages of more than 100,000 euros. In addition, you will advise our departments on all insurance-relevant issues and check as well as make account statements with insurance cover.

You have a degree, for example in the field of insurance, business or law, or a comparable qualification with a focus on insurance. Multiannual professional experience in insurance management, risk management or damage management – ideally in a company, with an insurer or broker – will help you. You are sure to move liability, property and personal insurance in the areas and have experience in dealing with economically relevant damages. You can also analyze and evaluate complex issues, cover and liability issues. The exchange with different contacts is easy for you: you communicate with insurance brokers, insurers, reviewers, lawyers and internal departments. Analytical thinking as well as a good understanding of economic contexts characterize you. A structured and careful operation allows you to reliably manage the diverse documents and processes. Analytical skills, solution-oriented work as well as good communication and team skills complete your profile.
