Doncasters Precision Castings-Bochum GmbH manufactures approx. 600 employees Running and guide vanes for aircraft engines and stationary gas turbines in fine casting. The Bochum production casts both polycrystalline and directed or monocrystalline solidified components.

You like to work with your own hands and you don't have a problem with making them dirty too? Are you interested in the production of castings of different sizes in individual and serial production? You'd rather move on instead of sitting at the desk all day? Then a training for the foundry mechanic /- mechanic is just the right thing for you!

You are going through all departments relevant to the training profession and you are learning the production of components, machine and manual, the control technology of machines (milling machine, CNC machine, lathe) and systems, as well as the operation and monitoring of casting technology production plants You actively support the day-to-day business and learn the production and preparation of casting moulds using various molding and casting methods You get insights into the planning, organization and implementation of workflows You will learn the monitoring and optimization of manufacturing processes and testing, as well as troubleshooting You support the production of components for the real production process

You have a good completion of the Middle Ages, (special) Abitur or a comparable conclusion You have a good mathematical and technical understanding You are a team player, but you can also work independently and have a structured way of working You own craftsmanship Your residence is in Germany
