The city of Neuss is a public administration with around 1,800 employees, which is a modern service company for its approx. 161,000 inhabitants understand. The Office for Economic Promotion employs eleven employees in two departments. 5 employees work in the 'economic promotion' department. Together with the head office, the department management and the team develop specific consulting services, events and other activities in the field of economic promotion and implement them. A special focus is currently being placed on developing the still young areas of responsibility in the Department of Economic Development 'Transformation Management' and 'Innovation Management' and adjusting them within the department. The core tasks relate to the marketing and redistribution of urban areas and the maintenance of local businesses. As well as the colleagues of the department, the department is directly involved in the customer business and performs its own tasks in addition to the management of the department.
