The position offers you a high level of design space with the possibility of making digitalization directly usable and implementing operational improvements directly. You are the contact person for the SPU departments on IT and digitization issues and act as a link to corporate IT

You will consult the IT infrastructure, IT security, modernisation and translate requirements into implementable IT solutions

The coordination of new or existing IT services takes care of the entire life cycle – from request (requests) to implementation to ongoing operation – in cooperation with departments, corporate IT and external partners

You are responsible for the support and further development of IT/OT infrastructures and production-related IT systems in the OT environment

You are working on cross-site IT and digitalization initiatives within ZEISS

You eliminate disturbances by analyzing, prioritizing, structuring, tracking incidents in cooperation with internal and external experts

Compliance and implementation of IT guidelines (Governance & Compliance) and cooperation in security incidents and audits

Successfully completed training focusing on computer science or a comparable qualification

Multiannual experience in the IT-Service, infrastructure or digitization environment, as well as in the coordination of IT projects or work packages

Good understanding of IT infrastructures, networks and modern workplace environments as well as pronounced analysis and problem solving capability

Embossed passion for production environments

Structured, independent way of working with clear priorities and high earnings orientation

Embossed customer and service orientation (ITIL experience), joy in cooperation with various stakeholders, communication strength and safe occurrence

Enthusiasm for digitalization and continuous improvement as well as excellent knowledge of German and English in word and writing
