= Job description

• Development of sustainable and forward-looking surface concepts and materials based on new raw materials and processes
• Raw material and technology screening to evaluate the use within the SSL with a focus on digital printing inkjet technology
• Joint developments with raw material ink suppliers, start-ups, institutes and technology partners, especially from the digital printing industry
• Development of printing and primer formulations to achieve the desired surface properties of films and composites, with a focus on UV technology
• Development of digital printing technologies on SSL requirements
• Self-employed work on development projects
• Planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of experiments in laboratory, technology and production
• Close cooperation within R&E and with process development, production, design and purchasing

Qualifications

• Complete studies focusing on coating technology, lacquer chemistry, polymer chemistry, digital printing technology or comparable qualification
• Professional experience in digital printing
• Knowledge of paint preparation and application processes
• Knowledge of physical-mechanical and thermoanalytical testing technology
• Experience with project work
• Secure handling of MS Office and other programs
• Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
• Structured and analytical methods
