Customs & Export Control Specialist (m/f/d)

For ProMinent GmbH we are looking for a Customs & Export Control Specialist (m/w/d).

Compliance: You shall ensure compliance with all customs regulations in accordance with UZK and UZK-DA/IA and ATLAS. Responsibility for proceedings: You bear the technical responsibility for the correct application of authorized procedures such as SDE, WuP and import procedures. Export processing: You create, check and release export declarations (ABD) independently. Classification: You monitor the correct classification of goods in accordance with TARIC and the determination of origin and maintenance of regular customs data. External trade: You are reviewing approval and ban stocks (e.g. BAFA, Dual-Use) and implement them properly. Contact: You act as a central contact person for customs authorities within your area of responsibility. Audit management: You actively participate in audits, self-assessments and approval procedures (e.g. AEO). Documentation: You create, maintain and review customs policies as well as work and organization instructions. Controls: You support internal control measures to avoid customs violations and strengthen the compliance structures. Risk management: You contribute to risk analysis and the further development of the risk control matrix (RKM) in the customs field. Escalation: You take over the technical escalation in case of deviations, irregularities or potential compliance risks. Archiving: You support the proper and revision-proof archiving of customs documents. Process design: You continuously design, analyze and optimize existing customs processes, identify potential for improvement and implement practical measures to increase efficiency, process security and legal settlement.

Experience: You have several years of practical experience in customs and foreign affairs, also in the international environment. Expertise: You provide a sound knowledge of customs tariffs, ATLAS exports and approved procedures. Qualification: You are professional experts with completed studies or commercial training as well as several years of experience in the customs and external sectors. Responsibility: You work with high integrity and take responsibility for the issues in your area of responsibility. Working: You convince by a structured, careful and reliable way of working. Analysis capability: You are characterized by pronounced analytical skills and good judgment. Language skills: You have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing, which you are sure to apply in the international work environment.
