You want to go through social work? Start your dual studies with the appropriate practical partner. Experience our dual study with courses on campus on two days a week. Then deepen your knowledge using our interactive learning materials. The therapy centre “Sachsengrund” Diespeck is a socio-therapeutic institution for people suffering from addiction. The focus of the treatment is on the substance-bound dependency such as, for example, alcohol. Our goal is to build bridges together with long-year-old people seeking to allow them to travel from dependence and return to society. We support our clients to improve their living conditions and achieve the greatest possible self-determination and self-determination in all areas of life – without addiction.

You support the social-pedagogical care of the inhabitants:inside and help them in the life-structural area You work closely in the team and get an overview of the tasks and procedures of the practical operation You will get to know the target group and take on tasks independently after you have been incorporated and accompany you, among other things, in leisure activities, individual and group offers and in-house activities You develop professional skills and deal with the social aspects of the search area You work with employees and with interfaces, such as doctors, cooperatively

Start your studies at the IU with (special) abitur, a qualified professional degree or as a national.
