Number: MER0003KCQ The future of logistics is paperless, digital, automated and transparent. As a team “Innovations & Digitization” we lay the foundations for this transformation, through logistics standards for planning processes, supply and digitalization concepts. Our responsibility extends from the idea to the standardized rollout into the works. In addition to external cooperation partners, we work closely interdisciplinary with employees from the fields of IT, planning, assembly and purchasing. New technologies generate a large amount and diversity of data. A so-called “digital twin” can be generated from this data. This is a digital image of the intralogistics processes. The digital twin represents the physical processes digitally in real time and forms the basic prerequisite for Industry 4.0. We are currently working on this image in the lighthouse project “Supply Chain Artificial Intelligence (SCAI). In this way, live tracking, early warning as well as error analyses are made possible, as well as complete transparency for operators and logistics planners. These challenges come to you: Error identification and error analysis as well as development of solution scenarios (IT-technical and processal questions) which are imaged in the digital twin Description and Implementation of New Use Cases for Digital Twin Testing the digital twin with the target group in the production and implementation of new requirements Continuous analysis and identification of relevant internal and external trends and requirements as well as the development of new solutions with the support of future-oriented technologies Creating decision templates for management as well as target and action roadmaps as planning and controlling basis Continuous and interdisciplinary coordination and cooperation with the fields of IT, production, planning and external partners
