As a pedagogical specialist (m/w/d), you can expect a fulfilling and versatile task in which you shape the daily routine taking into account the individual needs of the children, build strong relationships and support them in school and social challenges. The work is carried out within a 24/7 layer system which requires flexibility. You will be part of a dedicated team working for the welfare of children and young people.

• You shape and structure the daily routine in the sense of the needs and interests of the children.
• You build strong, trusting relationships with the children and are their contact person.
• You support children in school requirements and promote their social skills.
• You run crisis interventions and professionally deal with challenging behaviors.
• You document pedagogical work and actively participate in the help plan processes.
• You work closely with your team as well as external departments and references.

We are looking for

For this responsible position we are looking for a dedicated personality with experience in working with children and adolescents. In addition to your technical skills, you will be able to work flexibly to meet the requirements of the 24/7 layer system.

• You have a completed training as an educator, social pedagogue or in a comparable area.
• You have at least 3-5 years of professional experience in work with children and adolescents.
• You have empathy and the ability to build sustainable relationships.
• You are safe in dealing with crisis situations and challenging behaviors.
• You are team-ready and have experience in working with external specialists and references.
• You are ready to work flexibly in the 24/7 layer system.
