Microsoft Fabric Engineer / Fabric Data Engineer (m/f/d)

In our team, you work closely with the departments, develop modern ETL/ELT processes and lay the technical foundations for a future-oriented reporting and data landscape of the Funk Group. Build, develop and support our new Microsoft-Fabric data platform. Conception and implementation of ETL/ELT processes with Fabric Data Factory (Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks). Development and maintenance of Lakehouse structures, Delta tables and Medallion architectures. Working in the migration of our existing DWH landscape into the Fabric World Performance optimization of pipelines, Spark-Jobs and Warehouse queries. Close cooperation with specialist areas in requirements, data models and reporting requirements. Documentation of data models, processes and technical processes. Support in 2nd level support for data-related issues.

Finded practical experience with Microsoft Fabric – especially in the following areas: Data Factory (Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2) Lakehouse / OneLake / Delta Lake Spark (PySpark or Spark SQL) Fabric Data Warehouse / T‐SQL Very good SQL and data modeling skills Experience in building or developing data warehouse or data platform architectures Understanding ETL/ELT design patterns, data governance and best practices Joy in shaping a new platform from scratch Optional, but welcome: knowledge in SSIS or classic MSSQL‐DWH structures Experience with SSRS/Paginated Reports or Power BI Structured, solution-oriented operation and clear communication Good knowledge of German and English
