Manager BI Development – Microsoft Power BI & Microsoft Fabric (m/f/d)

As Manager BI Development, you are responsible for building modern, scalable data and reporting solutions based on Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. You help the organization work data-driven: from data integration to modelling to the development of meaningful dashboards that improve decisions and make processes measurable. The following tasks await you: Building and further development of Power‐BI solutions: data modeling, DAX development, visualization, UX optimization and performance tuning. Creation, maintenance and deployment of Semantic Models (Fabric & Power BI) including role and security concepts (Row-Level Security). Development of fabric artifacts such as Lakehouses, Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2 and Data Engineering Workloads. Responsibility for data integration and transformation logic (Power Query / M, Dataflows, Pipelines). Implementation of end-to-end data processes – from the source system connection to the finished dashboard. Close cooperation with departments to define KPIs, data models and reporting standards. Building and developing data-driven governance (name conventions, data catalog, workspace structure, permissions). Creation of documentation, guidelines and implementation of training for Power‐BI users.

Completed studies in business informatics, data science, computer science or a comparable qualification – alternatively relevant professional experience in the BI environment. Very good knowledge of Microsoft Power BI: Data Modelling (Star Schema, Best Practices) DAX & M / Power Query Visualization and UX Performance optimization

Experience with Microsoft Fabric or strong interest in working in Fabric‐Lakehouses, Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2 and Semantic Models. Solid knowledge of SQL and understanding of data architecture and ETL/ELT processes. Experience in working with Microsoft‐365 environments (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) Analytical thinking, structured working and the ability to illustrate complex content in a comprehensible way. Professional experience in asset management or fund management Analysis area would be desirable Communication strength, team capacity and enthusiasm for modern BI and data technologies.
