More than 50,000 customers are heating with natural gas, over 40,000 with district heating, which comes to over 90 percent from waste heat and heat coupling. More than 140,000 electricity customers can rely on the municipal works as reliable energy suppliers. The drinking water for over 400,000 customers in the region is of the best quality and a refreshing thirst quencher. Various services and offers are promising new business areas. As a management of our energy trade, you play a key role in the strategic and operational development of our trading area. They lead a dedicated team of over 10 employees in the areas of market and market success – and actively promote their professional and personal development. Your tasks include: Own-sponsored further development of the department taking account of earnings and risk situation Ensuring and further developing all activities of energy trading: time and spot market trading, balance sheet management, risk management, reporting and new commercial products Close cooperation with internal stakeholders such as sales, production, controlling and external service providers Further development and optimization of existing procurement and marketing models as well as the IT system landscape Promoting an innovation-driven, team-oriented work culture

They are a leader with entrepreneurial thinking and a strong sense of market mechanisms and regulatory framework in the energy industry. They bring with them: A completed study of the business, public or energy industry, engineering or comparable studies Multiannual experience in energy trading, portfolio management or in a comparable position Founded leadership experience and joy in the motivation and further development of employees Very good knowledge of energy-economic contexts, legal frameworks and common IT solutions A structured, self-responsible way of working and lust for change and new challenges
