Supervision of manufacturing of superconducting cavities Cryogenic test of rf-cavities including development of digital low level rf-system Other tasks include: Operation of first cryogenic module Participation in beam times Participation in development and validation of beam dynamics code Operation of cryogenic infrastructure
University Master Degree in physics or engineering sciences or comparable qualification Ability and interest in work with mechanical systems and accelerator installations Knowledge in one or more of these fields: Radio Frequency, vacuum technology, beam dynamics Knowledge and interest in the design and construction of RF accelerator cavities and in the design of linear accelerators Team-oriented and safe working methods Good language skills in English and German The following qualifications and skills are desired: A PhD in accelerator science or physics Experience in Python programming Experience with analog and digital electronics
