animal nurse (w/m/d) (50% or 100%). Our working group conducts basic research on the mechanisms of regeneration in Zebrafischen, www.uni-ulm.de/weidinger. We operate a zebrafish animal husbandry with 10,000 aquariums; the well-being of fish is a central concern to us and essential for our research. We are looking for a dedicated employee/employer (w/m/d) (even in parttime) who carries the goals of our AG and takes care of our fish.

Takeover of all animal care activities in the attitude of zebrafish Documentation according to common animal welfare requirements Participation in weekend and holiday services Implementation of cleaning and hygiene measures Working with the maintenance of technical equipment Working on the breeding of zebrafish: setting and harvesting of crossings, sorting of embryos etc.

Successfully completed training as animal nurse / animal nurse or fish farmer / fish farmer (possibly in the field of research and clinic) Knowledge of the breeding and keeping of animals (also genetically modified) Independent, structured and careful working and willingness to use EDV-knowledge (to maintain our animal husbandry software) Good knowledge of German language in word and writing English knowledge, at least at B1 level, for communication with non-German-speaking AG members

The body can be occupied in part-time or full-time. It is limited until 30.06.2028, an extension possibility exists A remuneration according to the contract TV-L (TdL: TV-L) in remuneration group E6.
