The HOT is an open youth meeting, which has become a permanent starting point for children and adolescents since its founding. As an established institution, the HOT is always accompanied by children and young people aged 8 to 16, regardless of their origin, denomination or social background. In addition to personal accompaniment in all situations of life, we offer a wide range of leisure activities. The HOT has been established in the support of the Simeon community, which on 01.01.2025 with other municipalities to the Ev.-Luth. Church of Bramfeld is merged.

The HOT's general team consists of three social pedagogical professionals, who are jointly responsible for the tasks involved, coordinate them in the team and divide them into one another depending on the focus. The tasks which the three divide each other include: Accompanying children and young people in the search for their own identity, developing their own responsibility and strengthening their self-help potential Common development, planning and implementation of leisure, excursions, projects, courses and new offers Active participation in and alternate management of team meetings, and participation in service meetings Acquisition, accompanying and support of honorary staff of the Youth Meeting Networking of work with cooperation partners in the district and beyond, the schools in the municipal area and the bodies in the church community Own processing of all administrative matters Acquisition and application of funding and donations for projects and actions Public relations including digital networking with children and young people

You have a relevant vocational training as a social pedagoguein, social workerin or a comparable qualification Openness and respect for different origins, cultural expressions and lifestyles as well as a gender-sensitive attitude bring you with Teamability, reliability and high social competence are just as important as us You bring flexibility and work both organised and self-sponsored You live a simple and solution-oriented approach to conflicts and work participatively You bring the willingness to work regularly in the afternoon and evening hours and to participate in holiday periods and programs You have a secure expressiveness in word and writing You have a driving licence class B You want to participate regularly in further education and training
