The Hospitals Landkreis Freudenstadt gGmbH offers professional medical care in a family atmosphere at two locations. In Freudenstadt, a hospital for basic and regular care is operated with 330 beds including a helicopter landing site, in the nearby Horb, a clinic for Geriatric rehabilitation with 50 beds supplements the offer for our patients. In addition, the clinics are accredited as an academic teaching hospital at the University of Tübingen. For the Freudenstadt site we are looking for multimodal pain therapy for the next possible appointment to complement the teams Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in full or parttime employment

Since chronic pain and diseases have an impact on the entire lives of people, including their emotionality, social and professional life, mobility and resilience, your task is to effectively treat these patients in the whole of body and soul and thus to enable participation in life again. The fears and depressions that usually occur in connection with illness and pain can be seen and treated in the context of somatic problems In addition to individual discussions, behaviour-based therapy groups on resilience, acceptance, coping, mindfulness and relaxation are indispensable elements of total therapy Develop and pursue the common goals together with the therapeutic team empirically, communicatively, at eye level and in constant exchange (team meetings)

You are a psychologist (Master), happy with approbation You have a holistic view of your patient in an interdisciplinary, friendly and collaborative team from orthopedists, anaesthetists, germinists, psychotherapists, physiotherapy, ergotherapists, logopedists and social workers You are happy to accompany and support people with chronic pain and elderly people
