Supplier Development Engineer / Process Specialist for External Value Creation (m/f/d)

Analysis, design and continuous and sustainable optimization of manufacturing and supply chain processes along the global external value chain Global control of external value-added partners with regard to process performance, capacity and delivery reliability in close cooperation with the corresponding internal and external interfaces Structured supplier development by performing audits to ensure sustainable performance and lean production / lean management initiatives to process and implement improvement potentials Developing and implementing standards, process policies and governance structures for external value creation Implementation of complex make-or-buy analyses and preparation of strategically sound decision bases taking into account cost, quality and delivery criteria Monitoring and reporting of KPIs for external value-added partners (delivery performance, costs, quality) and deviation management Coordination of digitalization and automation projects Internal and external contact for process-related issues relating to external manufacturing and value-added models

Complete studies in the field of economic engineering or comparable Multiannual professional experience in a manufacturing industrial company, ideally in the fields of purchasing, supplier management or production planning and control Very good understanding of production processes in the metal and electrical industry, as well as for planning processes and material flows Very good knowledge in analysis, standardization and optimization of processes Secure handling of SAP as well as very good knowledge in Excel/Data Analysis Experience in implementing supplier audits desirable Open communication, enforcement and hands-on mentality Structured, independent and solution-oriented approach Negotiating skills and ability to resolve conflict German and English knowledge in word and writing readiness to travel (national and international) and intercultural competence
