About the role: The specialist (m/w/x) in the field of ergonomics (primarily located in Graz, Munich or Sailauf) plays an essential role in the implementation of the European Ergonomics Programme of Magna for more than 102 European production sites (including Germany, Austria, France, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Poland, Italy, Turkey and Spain) and 54,000 employees. As an important member of the global ergonomics team, you are working with five other companies at the international level to develop new global ergonomics tools and to develop new strategies for reducing muscle skeleton diseases (MSE). The position is in principle located in Graz, Munich or Sailauf, but we are flexible when choosing the location and can also consider other Magna locations in Germany and Austria with appropriate qualifications.
Your tasks: Cooperation with the factory management to meet the requirements of the Magna ergonomics program Development of systems for ergonomic risk management, execution of action plans and integration of ergonomic design guidelines into technical processes. Guidance of the ergonomics coordinators and committees of the works with regard to ergonomic evaluation tools, ergonomic solutions and management of the ergonomics program. Development and implementation of ergonomic training for all organisational levels. Quarterly evaluation of operating data in the Magna Ergonomics database, providing feedback on improving the ergonomics program. Cooperation with the Global Ergonomics Team to develop new ergonomic tools, guidelines and processes. Support in the introduction of ergonomic analyses, development of action plans, implementation of solutions and follow-up. Implementation of ergonomic presentations and workshops at health, safety and environmental conferences as well as virtual events of Magna.
What we are looking for: Minimum Bachelor degree, preferably at least one year course work in the field of ergonomics or comparable training Proven at least 2 years of experience in handling ergonomic risk assessments, industry-standard instruments and the development and implementation of ergonomic programs in a manufacturing environment Excellent communication and presentation skills.
