Senior Automation Engineer - System Architecture (m/f/d)

In this role, you are responsible for the further development of control and automation concepts and bring your experience into the system architecture of industrial plants. Description System engineering with focus on automation and control architectures of complex machines Analysis and structuring of new requirements and deriving suitable automation and software solutions Development and development of control software as well as machine-related applications, in particular in C# Conception and implementation of NC functionalities, control algorithms and automated process sequences Integration and configuration of decentralized automation components such as drives, sensors, inspection systems and peripheral devices Cooperation in the architecture of automation systems including PLC-based controllers and industrial communication interfaces Analysis of existing control systems and continuous optimization of performance, stability and wartability Close cooperation with mechanical design, process development, electrical engineering and service and commissioning Support for releases, tests, deployment processes and 3rd-level technical support

Complete study of electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, computer science or comparable qualification Long-standing experience in the development and system integration of automation solutions in machine or plant engineering Very good knowledge of object-oriented software development, ideally with C# Experience with PLC-based controllers and industrial automation systems Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and drive systems of advantage Embossed understanding of measurement, control and drive technology Structured, self-responsible operation and pronounced system thinking Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Project-based readiness
