For the Facility Management division in the Construction Management Team at the Pinneberg workplace, the Rostock Directorate is looking for one: Engineer (m/d) (Entgeltgruppe 11 TVöD Bund / BesGr. The Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks (BImA) is the real estate service provider of the federal government, which supports the federal government's real estate objectives and provides the necessary areas and buildings for almost all federal authorities. Our Facility Management division builds, operates and manages a complex portfolio with exciting and versatile objects – from the ministries in Berlin and Bonn to the federal courts and research institutes to the buildings of customs, federal police, Bundeswehr or the Bundesanstalt Technisches Hilfswerk (THW). As an engineer/ingenieur, our construction management team will focus on the following tasks: Technical support of project managers in the technical building equipment in the context of construction tasks, including: Technical control of requirements/ Target values for technical installations Accompanying Target Agreement for Sustainable Building/Developing Technical Requirements Ensuring project objectives, compliance with costs, dates and qualities Preparation of transfer to operation Development of opinions and technical opinions, as well as technical engineering consulting in relation to buildings and properties located in the management of BImA, including: Completion of opinions, where appropriate Collection of expert opinions or their evaluation, in particular in the case of special design/technical wishes of the users Examination and verification of recommendations for the planning of re- or new construction measures of a machine/operational nature, including from an economic perspective Engineering assessment of alternative offers on conformity with project objectives Perception of overarching themes of technical building management as well as control of the planning, coordination, implementation and implementation of complex construction projects on technical installations, including: Optimization of operator concepts from the point of view of the requirements for efficient operation also with regard to the renewal of technical installations, including business principles and engineering regulations Development of commissioning and transfer concepts within the framework of construction projects Development and preparation of sustainable technical and legally safe building operations Consultation of users on savings potentials and cost optimization in the context of construction projects Evaluation of user/user operating concepts

Qualification: Completed technical university studies (Diplom [FH] or Bachelor) of Civil Engineering (Engineering), Technical Building Equipment, Supply Technology, Electrical Engineering/electronics or another comparable technical discipline Competences: Expertise in the planning and implementation of major new, re- and extension measures Funded experience in project management Experience in the technical operation of heating and sanitary facilities is desirable Knowledge of legal and administrative provisions relating to public works, including RBBau, VHB, UVgO, HOAI, Landesbauordnung, GEG, GEIG General knowledge of facility management Knowledge of sustainable building/guide Sustainable building (BNB) Knowledge of barrier-free construction Secure IT user knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Project); industry-specific software and SAP skills are desirable Other: Green and careful operation with high reliability Good organisational skills, economic thinking and acting skills Ability to work into changing tasks Good opinion Own initiative and capacity for creative and conceptual work Ability to work independently, thoroughly and objectively even with increased workflows Good expressiveness in word and writing, pronounced communication skills Customer- / Address-oriented behaviour and pronounced and targeted negotiation skills Skill for team-oriented action, critique, social competence Good judgment combined with the ability to make decisions and take responsibility Willingness to participate in (tlw. multi-day) training/service travel throughout the federal territory driving licence class B and the willingness to operate motor vehicles independently
