Technician for Control Technology Commissioning of Switchgear (a*)

You are responsible for the installation and commissioning of conductive devices in the Hamburg power distribution network and ensure their reliable function during operation. The execution, documentation and evaluation of plant-specific tests are also part of your task. To do this, you will set up the required test protocols and provide a comprehensible technical documentation. In addition, you will be able to customize the settings and parameterizations of optical systems and support the continuous optimization of existing systems. The analysis, clarification and elimination of faults as well as the planning and implementation of maintenance measures at technical facilities are also part of your responsibility. Develop sustainable solutions to ensure trouble-free network operation. In addition, you accompany conversions and extensions of existing technical systems and actively participate in their technical development. Another focus of your activity is on the field service. Here, you will work closely with the participating departments in switching systems, transformers and customer systems. Your task profile will be rounded off by participating in the willingness to call for technical facilities and the acquisition of additional special technical tasks.

You have successfully completed a technical-commercial training and have a further training on the technician or master (a*) in the field of electrical engineering, energy or automation technology or a comparable qualification. You bring well-founded knowledge in communication and communication technology and have experience in the field of network-based communication systems as well as common remote control protocols such as IEC 60870-5-104. In addition, you have a good understanding of the construction and operation of electrical power supply networks. Ideally, you have already gained experience with service tools for technical installations, such as SICAM TOOLBOX, DIGSI, SPRECON-E or setIT, and successfully deploy them in practice. You are characterized by a structured, analytical and solution-oriented way of working and systematically and conceptually addressing technical issues. A safe, friendly and service-oriented appearance towards internal and external opponents is one of your strengths as well as your distinct communication skills. A class B driving license completes your profile.
