Head of Systems Engineering Directives - befristet bis 31.08.2027 (m/f/d)

For proper representation of the Head of Division during a temporary absence, we are looking for an experienced and sovereign management personality, which is responsible for carrying out our Systems Engineering Directives division in an interim function. The position includes the continuous control of the strategic and operational tasks within the department. It consists of four departments in the specialized topics System Safety, Security, RAM, configuration management and collaboration and performance. This temporary role offers an extraordinary opportunity to override a technically demanding unit in the engineering sector, to actively promote the further development of key topics and to ensure organisational stability during the representation period. You perform the following tasks: Responsibility for continuing the strategic topics, programmes and development initiatives of the Department. Ensuring the achievement and prioritisation of ongoing and planned measures. Control of resource operations and capacities during the interim period. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, processes and quality requirements. Supporting the interfaces and coordinated cooperation with relevant partners and stakeholders. Professional and disciplinary leadership of employees during the interim phase. Moderation of decision-making processes, escalations and problem solutions in daily business. Ensure continuous communication, transparency and stability in the team. Own prioritisation, organisation and decision within the areas of responsibility defined by the Head of Division. Close coordination with the management of strategic decisions.

You have a successfully completed study of natural or engineering sciences or a comparable degree. You have several years of experience in leading positions, preferably at the departmental or departmental level. You can demonstrate success in managing complex projects, teams and technical topics. High leadership skills and strong communication and decision-making security are yours. You have experience in change processes, prioritization, conflict resolution and stabilization of teams. You bring a structured, sovereign way of working and ability to give rest, orientation and clarity in challenging situations. You bring the ability to change between strategic perspective and operational realities in engineering. You have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
