The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees.

The SOS Children's Village Lippe offers a differentiated range of support and support for children, young people, young adults and their families with different problems. The SOS Children's Village Lippe is located in the eastern Westphalian district of Lippe. Almost 200 employees are employed in four facilities for children, young people, young adults and families. In the children's village of Schieder-Schwalenberg we currently offer about 50 children and young people a safe home. A day care facility is also located on the grounds. In Detmold we accompany young people in three housing groups and support families through outpatient assistance in acute crisis situations. In Blomberg, “Consultation and meeting point” offer psychological advice as well as educational and leisure activities. “IQ Lügde” adds this to an open children’s and youth meeting and school-based social work. In Detmold, we support about 100 young adults through activating projects and training opportunities. As a setup manager, you work closely with eight area lines as well as the staff positions on child and care protection and public work/fundraising. Together, you design the operational day business and the strategic development of the facility. Other important reference groups are the SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. in Munich and regional partners within the Nord-West region and the regional office in Bremen. Your tasks include: Child and care protection Parent responsibility for child and care protection in all parts of the institution Promoting a culture of mindfulness Ensuring preventive processes and professional processing of border injuries in close coordination with the staff office Staff management & team development Leadership and support of a dedicated management team from ten executives Promotion of expertise, cooperation and individual development Trustful cooperation with the local works council Strengthening an esteeming, learning organisation culture Budget and financial responsibility Ensuring economic management Negotiations of pay and budgets responsible management of financial resources Strategic development Further development of the offer portfolio in the social area Lippe Networking with regional actors and cooperation partners future-oriented design of the facility Networking & representation Care of contacts to youth offices, professional bodies, job center, agency for work, Lippe County and other partners Representation of the institution at internal and external events Support for public relations and relationships with sponsors, donors and cooperating companies

completed studies of (social) pedagogy or social work or social sciences or a comparable qualification ideally an additional qualification in social business or social management Management experience in child and youth assistance or education sound knowledge of personnel management, economic planning and strategic development high communication and organizational capability pronounced reflectivity, solution orientation and empathy a professional approach to proximity and distance an esteeming attitude, lived error culture and joy in accompanying employees in their development a clear commitment to child and care protection
