Project management & strategic control: You carry out the entire project and secure milestones, work packages and networks, plan the use of resources and develop content and concepts – for example for Nature Credits – and implement them successfully. Field and laboratory work: You carry out laboratory analyses, plan and accompany field tests and implement measures directly on the surfaces in close cooperation with our technical team. Monitoring & Data Analysis: You analyze data, interpret results and make sure that the data flow from remote sensing and monitoring works smoothly. Make our work visible: You take the reporting and plan exciting public relations, and you organize events and bring our topics to the public – whether with press, film teams or NABU partners. Build strong networks on: You'll encourage the exchange with various forest stakeholders, contractors and partners and implement and control a implementation network with institutes, authorities and land owners.

You have a degree in natural science, preferably in forestry, biology or geoecology. You bring several years of professional experience from scientific practice – ideally in biogeochemis research and applied forest construction. You know yourself well in soil science, material flows, carbon balance, forest construction as well as species and nature protection. You are fit in data collection, analysis and statistics – including databases and tools such as R – and have experience with remote sensing and GIS. You work independently and structured, are team-ready and flexible for business trips; very good English skills complete your profile. Ideally: experience in networking, public relations and scientific publications.

We want to work with you and achieve success together; we initially offer a fixed-term employment relationship by December 2029, with a determination being sought. We offer you a pleasant and value-adding working environment as well as a versatile and responsible activity in a dedicated team. We support your personal and professional development to keep you up to date. With 30 days of vacation, flexible working hours (in the amount of 24 hours per week) and the opportunity to work on mobile, we will allow you to reconcile professional and private. Attractive additional offers such as a job ticket/Germany ticket and health prevention programs. .
