In this position, make sure that our ships reliably meet all EMC requirements - from the concept phase to testing on board. If you want to combine technical deep understanding with structured approach and take responsibility in a challenging maritime environment, we look forward to your application. Your tasks at a glance: In close coordination with the respective client, you define and specify the project-specific EMC requirements and ensure their standard implementation. Based on your expertise, you develop EMC-compliant design specifications and set the systemic arrangement of components on board (over and under deck). Clear technical guidelines for internal specialist departments and external subcontractors are designed to avoid electromagnetic interference at an early stage and to clearly define interfaces. In the case of technical questions concerning electromagnetic compatibility, consult and support adjacent specialist areas and bring your expertise in a solution-oriented manner. In professional working groups with the client, you actively participate, represent your topics competently and accompany the project-specific implementation. The planning, organisation and technical support of EMC tests and measurements on board take your own responsibility and evaluate the results with regard to compliance with the requirements. Analyses and simulations on electromagnetic compatibility (EMV) run with modern tools such as Ansys Electronics Desktop and derive sound assessments. An examination of the construction specification ensures that all electromagnetic influences and interfaces of the Systems are correctly taken into account and mapped. The continuous maintenance of all relevant data in the ERP, PLM and CAD system ensures transparency and traceability.
