Senior Cyber Security Engineer * (m/f/d)

You coordinate the CSE-First-Line team operatively as a central interface to CISO, IT leadership, revision and examiners, coach the CSE roles, support SOC, application security and cloud topics, and develop processes, runbooks and reports. You translate complex technical findings into understandable, decision-making information for management and various bodies and moderate target conflicts (e.g. patch windows vs. operational stability). You work in tandem on vulnerability and patch management. You support emergency pairings in close coordination with change/release management as well as CISO/IT and document risk acceptances and exceptions.

You have a degree in computer science, economic informatics or a comparable qualification. You bring several years of experience in IT security engineering, infrastructure/platform operation or application security in regulated environments. You have deep practice in at least two areas: SOC/Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, Patch Management, Application Security, Windows/Linux server operation or Cloud (e.g. Azure). You are familiar with regulatory requirements (e.g. NIS2, DORA, BSI). You communicate very well in German and English and moderate conflicts based on solutions. You prepare decisions in fact-based for experts, auditors and management.
