Project manager or head of urban development (m/f/d)

The responsible project management in the development of urban concepts and integrated urban development concepts is a focus of your activity. You work interdisciplinary at the interface between spatial planning, municipal administration, politics and the public. As part of the activity, you develop creative and sustainable solutions for complex urban and urban development-related issues. You design, moderate and accompany coordination and participation processes with different stakeholders and stakeholders (participation). You design projects strategically and forward-looking, taking into account long-term spatial, social and demographic developments. You present and represent concepts and projects to clients, political bodies and the public. Together with the team, you coordinate project processes, appointments and participants and ensure a structured and quality-oriented processing.

You have a completed study of urban, spatial, regional planning, geography, civil engineering and a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience in urban and quarter development. You think interdisciplinary and enjoy combining different professional and social perspectives. Experience in cooperation with small and medium-sized municipalities, municipal administrations as well as political bodies characterizes you or develop a targeted interest in this field of activity. You convince by an independent, structured and result-oriented approach and a good understanding of long-term planning and development processes. Your strengths include a very good communication, moderation and presentation skills. You are sure to deal with current MS Office applications; Knowledge of specialist applications, in particular in GIS programs, is advantageous. You are ready for regular service trips in Central German; a class B licence is desirable.
