The Faculty of Medicine of the Technical University of Dresden, one of the eleven German universities of excellence, strengthens translational research and career prospects for researchers with its program “CAMINO – Career Advancements in Multidimensional Tumor Targeting” funded by the BMFTR. In order to support visionary researchers to advance oncological research at the biomedical campus in Dresden, the Medical Faculty invites them to apply for Advanced Clinician Scientists as research group leader in oncology (w/m/d). The program offers experienced doctors a long-term research perspective in the areas of CAMINO excellence: immunity and inflammation, cell and gene therapy, functional profiling in precision socology as well as data science and digital health in therapy and prevention.
Completed specialist training, ideally with habilitation or equivalent qualification (German recognition for foreign qualifications must be available) You have an independent, competitive research profile and the desire to integrate into the landscape of translational oncology research You can demonstrate outstanding research achievements and expertise in an area related to the CAMINO excellence, and are committed to building cooperation on campus
