As part of our accredited drinking water laboratory, You ensure the reliable removal of water samples from groundwater, drinking water and flowing waters. In addition, you carry out process control in our waterworks and take over the maintenance of equipment and the execution of test equipment controls. You plan the sampling, including the route planning and coordination of the sites, arrange necessary circuits of conveyor wells and place samples in the laboratory information system. You prepare the sampling as well as measuring and removal devices, check the local conditions, adjust the measuring points and perform the sampling and document the results. You carry out regular maintenance and small repairs on measuring and laboratory equipment and ensure the availability of the necessary consumables for sampling by inventory control. You carry out regular checks on the measuring instruments for quality parameters, document the audits and create standardised audit reports.

You have a successfully completed training as a chemical or biology laboratory (w/m/d), chemical-technical assistant (w/m/d) or a comparable laboratory qualification. Alternatively, you have a training as a specialist (w/m/d) for water supply technology, specialist (w/m/d) for wastewater technology or as an environmental technician (w/m/d). You have experience in the sampling of water and know the common measuring instruments and procedures. You have a class B driving licence, have experience in the field and are ready to work at different locations. You are safe to use the current MS Office applications and have knowledge in a laboratory data information system as well as in the mobile laboratory data collection. You are characterized by a pronounced organizational and customer orientation as well as a cooperative and team-oriented way of working. Your German knowledge corresponds at least to the language level B2.
