Then we'll get you! In this position, you strengthen the six-headed team of our Tech IT service at the interface between IT and OT. You are actively working on the design of the energy landscape of tomorrow by linking and managing the two worlds of IT and OT. You mainly work at our power plant location in Hamburg-Tiefstack. On a few days a month, you are working at other locations in the city area of Hamburg and the nearby surrounding area, for example when commissioning, modernizing and expanding the IT/OT technology there. The possibility of partial provision of the work service in teleworking also exists within the framework of the existing operating arrangements.

Responsibility for planning, building and operating the network infrastructure (e.g. firewalls, switches, VPN routes, LWL routes) at the power plant and technology locations Maintenance and operation of partially virtualized server infrastructure and associated systems (e.g. server, storage, backup) Contact persons for the areas of expertise with regard to advice on strategic and operational further development of IT/OT systems and, where appropriate, Take over the role of the technical (partial) project manager in IT/OT projects Continuous development and conception of the existing system landscape Interface to IT service providers and manufacturers as well as IT security and other stakeholders in the company Cross-system fault analysis and coordination of the correction

Complete bachelor's degree or master's degree in the field of computer science, technical informatics, business informatics, communication technology or a comparable subject or a comparable training in the IT environment with multiannual professional experience Proven experience as a system or network administrator in a company of comparable size or industry and/or proven experience in IT project management In-depth knowledge in the field of network technology, in particular in the configuration of routers, switches and firewalls as well as in network and interface protocols Safe handling of Windows server systems and related services (e.g. Active Directory, DNS) as well as virtualization solutions Ideally knowledge in the areas of Linux appliances, VPN, location networking and understanding of process control technology or e-technology in power plant or production operation Very high quality and safety awareness due to the activity in the sensitive environment of the energy industry and the critical infrastructure Teamability and independent, structured approach with strong analytical skills driving licence class B Good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing
