The Klinik und Poliklinik für Mund-, Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgie / Plastische Chirurgie des Universitätsklinikums Jena is the only university institution of the department in Thuringia and covers the full spectrum of oral, oral and facial surgery including plastic reconstructions – from rare malformations such as Pierre-Robin sequence, cherubism or Goldenhar syndrome to complex dysgnath.

In this role, you support not only standard cases, but also complex diagnostics and procedures that can only be found at large centers – including scheduling for specialized hours, preparation of diagnostic measures and coordinated aftercare.

These are your tasks:

• Pre- and post-processing of office hours and the ambulance operating room (termination planning, treatment assistance and documentation, billing, archive)
• Support for federation changes and blood withdrawals as an important part of patient-oriented care
• takeover of organisational activities such as coordination of transports and the triggering of performance requirements
• Responsibility for the provision and control of the ambulance requirement including ordering
• Care, maintenance and cleaning of medical devices and instruments for high quality and hygiene standards

This is what we need:

• Completed vocational training as dental specialist / dental medical specialist, medical assistant / doctor helper
• ideally experience in surgical assistance and assistance at the dental chair
• Secure handling of computer applications, ideally with knowledge in MS Office; Experience with ProX is welcome, but no need
• willingness to develop and learn new skills through further education and training
