Number: MER00040EF Our team is concerned with the advance development of the electric drivetrain of the future. From the white sheet of paper to the finished technology carrier we deal with all steps of development - concept, simulation, testing, commissioning and data analysis. We are looking for support and offer a mandatory internship to further develop the cross-sector charging performance analysis for electric and hybrid vehicles. These challenges include: Introduction to the performance and error analysis of charging processes in order to comprehensively understand their processes and influencing factors

Development of a forward-looking and standardized system for the performance and error analysis of charging processes, which ensures efficiency and reproducibility

Creating and implementing newest AI tools for cross-sectoral and cross-sectoral use of analysis possibilities

Conception and realization of an intelligent software solution that combines all the aspects that have been developed and enables a fast, reliable and data-based error analysis.

The activity can be started from May 2026.

Degree course with technical orientation such as mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, computer science or a comparable degree course

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Commitment and team skills

Analytical way of thinking and strategic and independent working

knowledge in the field of vehicle technology, electrical drives, control technology, data analysis

Served application of current Coding Agents and IDEs

Knowledge of the use of AI agents, RAG and n8n

Interest in and first points of contact with AI agents and copilots: understanding how these tools can support code generation, pattern recognition or intelligent automation of analysis steps.

Basic understanding of workflow automation tools (e.g. n8n or similar): knowledge of how to link and automate various steps of error analysis (e.g. data import, processing, reporting).

C and Python programming skills
