Application manager for documentation systems

Heat and energy are our contribution to the quality of life – every day new. As BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH we supply the capital with electricity and heat in a climate-friendly manner. Our district heating network is the largest Western Europe with a length of more than 2,000 kilometres. We supply about one third of the Berlin households with heat. With the know-how of our 2,200 employees, we cover the entire value chain of district heating – from production to grid operation and expansion to distribution. At high pressure, we work at the coal exit until 2030 and at climate-neutral production from 2045. In this way, we support the Land of Berlin significantly when reaching its climate targets. On the way to this we want to realize a higher proportion of renewable energies and waste heat. To do this, we need to redesign many of our sites and facilities. For the BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH we are looking for you at the next possible time as an application manager:r for documentation systems at the Berlin site in an indefinite position. The System Applications division is responsible for the provision of digital tools to enable the operation and maintenance of power plant and power plants efficiently, safely and economically. As an application manager:r for documentation systems, you are responsible for the design and further development of the digital management of our technical documentation. For the existing facilities and the variety of new facilities that we will build in the context of the heat-supply, you enter our document management systems. You are working on the provision of IT systems that replace paper documentation with integrated systems for storing, searching and object-oriented master data management. Your tasks As a link between users and IT service providers, you support our KeyUsers in designing requirements and manipulating system changes. You ensure the operational operation of our existing documentation systems and assist our colleagues in the operational unit in their use, e.g. through training. You manage the systems and develop user profiles as well as authorization and security concepts. You help to analyze our systems, identify their interfaces and business processes with the goal of comprehensive systemic improvements. You design project ideas, accompany pilot and implementation projects for further development or new technologies, including in agile teams. You support master data processes and contribute to optimizing processes through interfaces and automated workflows.

Your profile Complete technical or university studies of engineering or information technology Knowledge in the field of technical plant documentation Multiannual experience in the development, administration and shaping of appropriate IT systems High social competence, in particular very good cooperation, team and communication skills Structured and targeted working with the ability to visualize and present work results appealingly Very good German knowledge and good English knowledge in word and writing You meet about 70 percent of the requirements?
