Type of employment: Limited Working time: Full time Place of work: Salzgitter As part of your internship, you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of the largest automotive supplier and to get to know our experienced team in the area of quality management of purchase parts. You will gain insights into the quality standards and processes according to IATF16949 and support the team in the varied daily business in ensuring quality requirements. You support the team of quality experts in the processing of complaints against our global suppliers. You will know suppliers of components of different material field classes including electrical and mechanical components for the production of engine controls. You are involved in the communication between suppliers as well as internal customers and stakeholders and take responsibility for the organisation and preparation of meetings. You pack and help the team in the measuring room and the goods receipt check to assess and select components with regard to defined quality criteria. You'll set up test reports, result logs and internal documents and decision templates. You act as an interface between suppliers, external service providers, logistics, manufacturing and customer quality.

Education: Studies in Quality Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Sciences, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Similar Experiences and know-how: safe in handling MS Office (Excel, Power Point) Personality and working methods: flexible, communicative, motivated, independent and structured Enthusiasm: for a varied range of tasks and communication with various cross-sectional departments Languages: very good in German and English
