About us Our house is located in an exposed location – just outside the well-known half-timbered and nougat town of Schmalkalden overlooking the Rhön and the Rennsteig. Not far from Eisenach with its Wartburg, right at the Nature Park Thüringer Wald. Our wellness and holiday hotel offers 48 comfortable rooms of different categories. Whether a holiday or business trip – you feel at home with us at any time! As a privately run hotel within the AKZENT Group, we attach great importance to making the stay for each individual guest something very special. After extensive modernizations, our house shines in new splendour and awaits with many innovations. Experience our more than 1000 m2 AroniaVital SPA, two outdoor tennis courts, four in-house bowling alleys, hiking and Nordic walking routes right in front of the door or just enjoy the wonderful tranquility here with us – in the Thuringian Forest. For all those who like it athletic, we offer modern e-bikes for rent from April to October. Whether offroad through the Thuringian Forest, or cozy through the picturesque passes of our beautiful Lutherstadt, so or so an e-bike tour is always an experience. Our active program is also available from Monday to Friday, of course included. Whether Aquafitness, Bowling or a cozy evening in our campfire lounge – with us your stay becomes an experience! We treat you in our restaurant Henneberger Haus with a rustic beer garden and the restaurant Gräfin Anastasia.
