Job description:

• They work in the military kitchen and operate machines and equipment in the military kitchen.

• They prepare meals and carry out the acceptance of goods.

• They are responsible for the work of the civilian kitchen staff on behalf of the kitchen management.

• They perform tasks as part of device management as well as the requirement of consumables and protective and workwear.

• They control, store and manage retrievals according to internal regulations of the Bundeswehr.

• They lift several loads over 5 kg to 10 kg each day, sometimes up to 15 kg without auxiliary means.

• They are exposed to noise, moisture and odor physical stresses by working in rooms with different temperatures (-20°C to + 35°C).

• They work with hot (over 70°C) and cold (under -18°C) products.

• They are active in the Neustadt-Luttmersen site, and are also used in other locations in the region such as Nienburg, Wunstorf, Bückeburg and Hanover.

• This place is expected to be occupied at 01.01.2027. VAS FOR YOUTH

• They are placed in an indefinite employment relationship.

• It expects an attractive salary according to the public service collective agreement (TVöD).

• They benefit from targeted personnel development and an extensive range of continuing and training. The costs for necessary further training are taken over.

• They work with a recognized and family-friendly employer in safe economic conditions.

• They work full time, because of the activities as a jumper, an occupation in part time is not possible. The activities shall be carried out at the place of service.

• You will receive an occupational pension scheme in cooperation with the Federal and Länder pension fund (VBL).

• At a 5-day week you have 30 days paid vacation per year.

• You will receive an annual special payment (Christmas money).

• You can use facilities such as the sports facilities and the canteen on site.

• You have the opportunity to participate in sports and health programmes during working hours in a fixed framework.

Qualification requirements:

VAS FOR UNS

• They have successfully completed vocational training as cooks or cooks. Cook.
• You are willing to acquire the health certificate under the Infection Protection Act (§ 42,43 IfSG).
• They have a class B driving licence and a willingness to acquire the Bundeswehr driving licence and to run a service vehicle.
• They confess through their entire behaviour to the fundamental freedom of democracy within the meaning of the Basic Law.
• You agree to participate in a health assessment.
