Wholesale and Foreign Trade Merchant (m/w/d) – Import Division

For our customers – an internationally operating company from the shipping and logistics industry – we are looking for a dedicated wholesale and foreign trader (m/w/d) with a well-founded experience in the import business as part of the direct exchange. If you feel at home in international trade, like communicating with global suppliers and bringing a good sense of smooth processes in import, you will find a responsible position in a modern, international working environment. Individually responsible handling and monitoring of import operations in the sea and air freight sector Close cooperation with internal departments and international agencies to ensure smooth operations billing of sea freight and surcharges to customers Coordination of the registration and transfer of empty returns in German and international depots Examination and processing of relevant consignment documents Customer support in day business Processing of invoice complaints and documentation and handling of container damage Maintenance of master data and documentation in the ERP system

Completed commercial training, e.g. as a merchant/wife in wholesale and foreign trade Ideally first experience in the field of import or sea freight Communication strength as well as an organised, structured and independent operation Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office
