Senior IT Security & Operations Specialist (m/f/d)

Your job As an IT security & operation specialist, you'll be sure to ensure that our IT environment is safely and stable. You recognize risks, implement appropriate measures and shape our further IT and security roadmap together with the IT management. Your tasks You identify security risks in our systems and make concrete suggestions for improvement. You enter IT projects with security relevance in cooperation with colleagues and external partners. You check security-relevant incidents, take first steps and then make sustainable improvements. You support the creation of guidelines, processes and evidence related to IT security and compliance. You keep our IT documentation up-to-date and provide transparency to management, departments and auditors.

Embossed pragmatism: You will find a good balance between security best practice and operational feasibility. At least 7 years of experience in IT operation with good understanding of IT security. Practical experience in Microsoft-loaded environments. Experience in implementing IT projects and coordinating external service providers. Ability to evaluate risks in a structured manner and to prepare the basis for decisions in a comprehensible manner. Very good German and good English skills. Nice to have (no need) First experience with safety standards or frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIS2, BSI basic protection). Knowledge in SIEM, DLP or Information Protection.
