We are looking for a buyer (m/w/d) to complement our team at Endress+Hauser Liquid Analysis in Waldheim and to maintain our purchasing portfolio in indirect purchasing and to implement purchasing strategies in line with internal customer and corporate goals.

In this role, you will fully support the shopping portfolio in in-direct shopping and make an important contribution to the implementation of our shopping strategies.

What are you going to do?

• They are responsible for the demand-driven purchase of indirect materials, capital goods and services in coordination with the departments. This includes, for example, supply collection, comparison and price negotiation.
• You take over the administrative processing of orders incl. Date tracking, receipt and invoice inspection as well as complaint processing.
• You select suppliers and accept supplier management.
• They work closely with the internal project teams and agree regularly.
• They are responsible for conducting negotiations and closing contracts (e.g. framework, maintenance and service contracts).
• They develop and participate in the implementation of purchasing strategies for indirect material, capital goods and services focusing on cost optimization and risk management.
• They work with cross-site activities.
• They act as a Competence Owner for processes and tools in purchasing.

What do we expect from you?

• You have a degree in economics, BWL or comparable vocational training.
• You have a multi-year professional experience in the investment and service purchase of a manufacturing company.
• You have profound knowledge of contracting.
• You can shine with an independent, targeted and self-responsive way of working.
• It distinguishes a high degree of negotiation skills and communication skills.
• You have good English skills and reliable German skills.
• You have secure SAP and MS Office skills
