The Raben Trucking & Rental GmbH (RTR) bundles the fleet as well as our drivers as a subsidiary and transport contractor. More than 400 employees are here with heart and passion and look forward to your expert support in fleet management. The fleet of the 25 branches of the RTR is distributed to 4 regional managers and 10 fleet managers. Sounds good? Then you will also become an important part of our raven team! You take over the overall responsibility for operational and economic development in the East region and shape their strategic development together with the management. You guide the fleet managers assigned to you professionally and disciplinaryly and together with them you create a motivating working environment for the subordinate professional drivers. With clarity, empathy and enforcing ability, you can manage your entire team – from commercial personnel to administration – and ensure a structured deployment planning and clear responsibilities You take responsibility for the entire personnel management in your region: these include further development, recruitment in coordination with HR, as well as the support of personnel talks and measures of employee retention. You have the budget and cost control in mind and bear the responsibility for the outcome. You'll be pleading existing customer relationships and gain new customers for our company. You ensure that legal requirements (e.g. GüKG, steering and rest periods) are reliably adhered to.

You ideally have a completed training on the transport specialist (m/w/d), a study in the field of logistics/economy or a completed vocational training as a merchant/wife for forwarding and logistics services (m/w/d) or a comparable qualification. You bring several years of professional experience in the transport or logistics industry – ideally you have already taken over leadership responsibility. You have a well-founded knowledge of freight transport and you know the relevant legal regulations (e.g. GüKG, driving personnel law). You have good English skills to be able to communicate in a professional context if necessary. You think entrepreneurial, trade economically and meet decisions with vision – even under pressure. You work structured, recognize optimization potentials and tax budgets as well as investments safely and targeted. You are confident about customers, partners and colleagues. You are ready to be regularly on the road within your region
