Our client is an international trading company headquartered in the city centre of Hamburg. In the course of further growth, we are looking for a Manager Financial Controller (m/w/d) to run a five-member team and to ensure professional financial reporting at Group level. Professional and disciplinary leadership as well as further development of a team of five employees in financial controlling. Responsibility for the creation, analysis and quality assurance of the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB and US-GAAP. Control of the Group-wide reporting process including balance sheet, GuV and cash flow analyses as well as management reporting. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, internal control systems and regulatory requirements. Responsibility for the assessment and mapping of complex business incidents, including Mark-to-Market topics and key balance sheet items. Close cooperation with national and international finance teams as well as continuous optimization of processes, systems and reporting structures.

Successfully completed studies in business, finance, accounting or comparable qualifications. Multiannual professional experience in auditing and in a leading finance or controlling function within an international industrial or commercial company. knowledge of HGB as well as US-GAAP; Experiences with IFRS, SOX or SEC requirements are advantageous. Detectable corporate experience and security in dealing with complex corporate structures. Embossed leadership qualities, high analytical competence and a proactive working style. Current knowledge of German and English.
